Regular Season Round 3: AIK - Pardaugava 78-22

There was no surprise in Solna where Latvian Pardaugava (1-4) was outplayed by Swedish AIK (4-1) 78-22 on Sunday. The game without a history. AIK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Pardaugava to just 3 points in third quarter and to 8 points in second half. AIK held Pardaugava to an opponent 19.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 51.6 percent accuracy of the winners. AIK forced 19 Pardaugava turnovers and outrebounded them 42-24 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. AIK looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Pardaugava's players. The best player for the winners was Julian Soderman who had a double-double by scoring 10 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Abdouile Vahlberg chipped in 17 points. Five AIK players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Rihards Baculis who recorded 5 points and 6 rebounds and Davids Lipsnis added 4 points and 6 rebounds respectively.
