But Hainaut was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Aulnoye 70-65 on Saturday night. Aulnoye looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Helene Jakovljevic (176-2000) had a double-double by scoring 10 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Alexa Hart (190-1995, college: Ohio St.) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Aulnoye players scored in double figures. Senegalese power forward Khadidiatou Sarr (190-1999) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and Canadian guard Keishana Washington (170-2000, college: Drexel, agency: LBM Management) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Aulnoye will meet at home Montbrison in the next round. Hainaut will play against La Tronche and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the LFB just one year after relegation.
