ToPo Juniorit used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Helsinki 86-72 on Sunday night. ToPo Juniorit outrebounded HNMKY 39-26 including 31 on the defensive glass. ToPo Juniorit looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Forward Eldar Skamo (198-1986) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners and point guard Sakari Laakso (194-1997) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. At the losing side swingman Tuukka Harsila (192-2004) responded with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and center Roni Vuori (205-2002) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four ToPo Juniorit and five HNMKY players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
