There was no surprise when 6th rankedHammarby (2-2) was outleveled by leader Eskilstuna (4-0) in Stockholm 128-94 on Sunday. Eskilstuna forced 21 Hammarby turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Forward Adam Karahmetovic (189-1998) nailed 43 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and guard Simon Finden (191-2000) accounted for 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Baschir Sheikh came up with 19 points and 8 rebounds and French point guard Benjamin Curis (176-2001) added 10 points and 7 assists respectively for Hammarby in the defeat. Four Eskilstuna and five Hammarby players scored in double figures. Hammarby's coach Daniel Svard gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Eskilstuna . They moved-up to third place. Loser Hammarby dropped to the seventh position with two games lost.
