Important game to mention about took place in Petah Tikva. H.Jerusalem saved a 1-point victory on the road edging H.Petah Tikva 58-57 on Monday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. International swingman Alyssa Baron (178-1992, college: Pennsylvania) notched 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and American power forward GMrice Davis (189-1996, college: Fordham) supported her with 9 points and 18 rebounds. Even a double-double of 14 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists by American center Sasha Goodlett (195-1990, college: Georgia Tech, agency: LBM Management) did not help to save the game for H.Petah Tikva. Her fellow American import guard Nina Rickards (175-2001, college: Louisville) added 15 points and 4 assists for the hosts. Four H.Petah Tikva players scored in double figures. H.Jerusalem will play against H.Rishon LZ in Rishon Le-Zion in the next round and are hoping to win another game. H.Petah Tikva will play on the road against M.Ramat Gan in Ramat Hen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
