Regular Season Round 6: Karhubasket - Kouvot 95-70

The game had a very big importance for second-rankedKarhubasket as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Karhubasket smashed 5th ranked Kouvot in Kauhajoki 95-70 . Karhubasket forced 22 Kouvot turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for American forward Kaden Anderson (203-1999, college: PLNU) who led his team to a victory with 30 points and 4 assists (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!). The former international guard Andre Gustavson (197-1999, college: Richmond) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Karhubasket's coach Janne Koskimies felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Isaac Likekele (196-2000, college: Ohio St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Jalen Jackson (198-1994, college: UALR, agency: Diamond Sports) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kouvot. Four Karhubasket and five Kouvot players scored in double figures. Karhubasket have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Kataja. Kouvot at the other side dropped to the sixth place with three games lost. They share the position with Korihait and Honka.
