Regular Season Round 4: KFG - Thor AK 78-73

KFG has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Thor (0-3) 78-73 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Thor won fourth quarter 24-21 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KFG made 28-of-35 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game, while Thor only scored twelve points from the stripe. KFG forced 19 Thor turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard DeAngelo Epps (196-2000, college: Catawba, agency: Interperformances) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Forward Viktor Ludviksson (202-2006, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Epps is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Tim Dalger (201, college: St.Louis) produced 30 points and 7 rebounds and forward Andri Johannesson (199-2002) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. KFG (1-3) left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with Snaefell and Fjolnir. It was Thor 's third loss in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost.
