Bottom-rankedForssan Alku is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to fourth ranked Tampereen Pyrinto (5-2) 100-84 on Saturday evening. Pyrinto outrebounded FoA 50-38 including 16 on the offensive glass. Pyrinto looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Power forward Saana Kujala (184-2002) notched a double-double by scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and American guard Kayla Shaw (178-1997, college: Azusa Pacific) supported her with 21 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. Even 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by Mozambican power forward Vania Sengo (185-1996) did not help to save the game for FoA . American guard Jada Lewis (175, college: SDSU) added 19 points and 5 rebounds. Four Pyrinto and five FoA players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tampereen Pyrinto have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser Forssan Alku still closes the standings with six games lost.
