Maccabi Bnot Ashdod (D1) tabbed 24-year old Belarusian ex-international 183cm forward Kseniya Malashka (college: MTSU) for new season. Malashka played most recently at Slavia Banska Bystrica in Slovakian Extraliga. In 12 games she averaged 11.6ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.3apg and 1.4spg last season. She helped them to win the cup and make to league final. Malashka also played 2 games in Alpe Adria Cup where she had 9.5ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.0apg and 1.0bpg. She also spent pre-season at A.S. Ramat Hasharon.
Last year she was drafted by Chicago Sky (WNBA) in third round (35th overall).
The former Middle Tennessee State University standout is in her second season in pro basketball.
Malashka was also a member of Belarusian international program for some years. She played for Belarusian Senior National Team between 2016 and 2021 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2018.
Malashka also represented Belarus at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U18 Division B in Austria six years ago. Malashka's team won Silver and her stats at that event were 8 games: Score-1(20.5ppg), Reb-1(14.1rpg), 3.4apg, 2.8spg, Blocks-3(2.3bpg), FGP: 55.2%, 3PT: 42.3%, FT: 83.3%. she voted toAll-C-USA Sixth Player of the Year in 2022 and 2023. She played also for Virginia Commonwealth University for 3 years.
