Gorizont signs Donica Cosby, ex Mandurah M.

BK Gorizont Minsk (Premier League) signed experienced 36-year old American guard Donica Cosby (172cm-1988, college: Okla City) for upcoming 2024-25 season. She played last season at Mandurah Magic in Australian NBL One. In 11 games just recently she had very impressive stats: 16.8ppg, 2.3rpg, 4.0apg and 2.2spg. The lastshe played at Peli Karhut in Finnish league.
She is quite experienced player. Cosby has played in nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). She has played previously professionally in Finland, France (Nice), Italy (Trieste), Lithuania (Siauliai), Poland (Torun), Portugal (Academico Futebol Clube and Clube Desportivo Torres Novas), Romania (Targoviste and Arad) and Switzerland (Pully).
Among many awards she won Finnish League championship title in 2023. Cosby was also voted Eurobasket.com All-WBBL Import Player of the Year in 2022.
She is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible she may end her playing career at Gorizont.
She graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2011 and it will be her 14th (!!!) season as a professional player. She played also for The University of Arkansas for one year.
