The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Gorizont 2 in Grodno on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by Olimpia 91-59. Olimpia dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Gorizont 2's 38. Olimpia forced 27 Gorizont 2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Gorizont 2's players. The former international point guard Evgenia Bernatskaya (169-2005) orchestrated the victory by scoring 4 points, 5 rebounds, 12 assists and 6 steals. The former international center Yana Makutsa (198-2004) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Daria Degtyareva (181-2007) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for Gorizont 2. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olimpia is again looking forward to face Gorizont 2 in Minsk in the next round. Gorizont 2 will have a break next round.
Another interesting game for BC Minsk Youth which played in Grodno against Olimpia 2. BC Minsk Youth crushed hosts 88-30. Guard Elizaveta Prishepova (178-2005) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Elizaveta Prokofieva chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Center Daria Trus (188-2008) responded with 6 points and 9 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BC Minsk Youth's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Minsk Gorizont.
The game in Gomel supposed to be also quite interesting. BC Minsk played at the court of Gomel. BC Minsk smashed Gomel 108-28 on Sunday. Anastasia Babak notched 18 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the effort. Even 9 points by Tatiana Gorelikova did not help to save the game for Gomel. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BC Minsk will meet at home Olimpia in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Gomel will play against Brest and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 2 Brest lost to Gorizont on the road 42-75.
