Gorizont - Olimpia 61-60

It was a great evening for the former international power forward Hanna Lapo (188-1997) who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Daria Degtyareva (181-2007) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Nadzeya Nadzezhka (183-1987) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Yana Makutsa (198-2004) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Gorizont 2 - BC Minsk 40-96

BC Minsk dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Gorizont 2's 30. BC Minsk forced 32 Gorizont 2 turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Gorizont 2's players. It was an exceptional evening for forward Anastasia Babak (179-2002) who led the winners and scored 12 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. The former international point guard Yuliya Vasilevich (168-2001) accounted for 11 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Four BC Minsk players scored in double figures. point guard Lilia Narkevich (169-2008) came up with 15 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Vera Nesterovich (173-2007) added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Gorizont 2 in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

The best player for the winners was center Elizaveta Genzik (190-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Elizaveta Kapitsa (164-1992) chipped in 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Maria Novik (181-2010) who recorded 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks and swingman Alexandra Kolyada (177-2009) added 12 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
