Schadeck's double-double lands him Top Division I Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Guard Samuel Schadeck (190-G) had an amazing evening in the last round for SFS BCCA Neufchateau and receives a Hoops Agents Top Division I Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 42 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Kontich (1-5) 91-82. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Neufchateau maintains the 14th position in Belgian Top Division I. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 5 games and recorded just one victory. In the team's last game Schadeck had a remarkable 78.6% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He has many years of experience at Neufchateau, through which he has constantly improved. Schadeck has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 20.2ppg) and averages solid 57.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Yannick Desiron (206-C-1992) of Insurea Kontich Wolves. He is international center in his 2nd season at Kontich. In the last game Desiron recorded an impressive 31 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Kontich lost that game 82-91 to Neufchateau (1-5). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Kontich dropped in the standings to second-to-the-bottom (13th) position. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Kontich managed to get this year. Desiron is well-known at Kontich and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.7ppg (#2). He also registered 7.2 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Andrej Cuyvers (193-PF-2001) of BC Guco Lier Vzw (#4). Cuyvers got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds and five assists. He was a key player of Guco Lier, leading his team to a 88-78 win against #2 ranked LDP Donza in a game of the week. Guco Lier started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Cuyvers turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Cuyvers has a great season in Belgium. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 35.3ppg (best scorer) and assists with 6.8apg (best passer).
