Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I round 2 best performance: Andjela Sipka (by Hoops Agents)

International Center Andjela Sipka (186-C-2002) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked KK Jumper Zenica, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 24-year old player was the main contributor (30 points, nine rebounds) to her team's victory, helping them to beat Mladi Krajisnik (#4, 1-1) 84-72. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Jumper to take over top position in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Jumper won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Sipka had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. She turned to be Jumper's top player in her first season with the team. Andjela Sipka has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 24.0ppg) and averages impressive 57.1% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young Jelena Tadic (184-F-2003) of ZKK Lider Gradiska. Tadic had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Gradiska lost that game 72-97 to Leotar (2-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Tadic is a newcomer at Gradiska, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.5ppg (#7). She also registered 10.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Jumper's star - Hungarian forward Sara Heljic (193-F/C-2000). Heljic scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of KK Jumper Zenica, helping her team with a 84-72 win against #4 ranked Mladi Krajisnik in a game of the week. Jumper has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Heljic also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Heljic has a great season in Bosnia. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.5ppg (4th best), rebounds with 13.0rpg (4th best) and assists with 4.5apg (5th best).
