KP Brno clinch CEWL title at home court in Czech Republic. In the Final game they beat Piestanske Cajky 65-53. The latter looked better in the start of the game and opened the game with a 22-15 lead. The hosts of the tournament however reduced to 5 points at the halftime and then grabbed a 53-44 lead in the third period after a 21-8 surge. Moreover they dominated the end of the game for the final 12-point success.
Eva Kopecka (173-SF-96) stepped up with 22 points and Tereza Peckova (190-F-87) netted 18. Stephanie Madden (186-C-88, college: Langston) followed them with 12 points in the winning effort. Terezia Palenikova (179-SF-95) ended up with 14 points in a loss and Chantelle Handy (188-SF-87, college: Marshall, agency: Two Points) scored 12.
In the game for the third place Flying Foxes SVS Post overcame SBS Ostrava 76-71.
