Hamilton-Carter's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

29-year old forward Danielle Hamilton-Carter (190-F-90) had a great game in the last round for Piestanske C. and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 4.
She had a double-double of 14 points and 22 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team UBI Graz (#4, 0-2) with 43-point margin 77-34. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Piestanske C. maintains the 3rd position in CEWL . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Piestanske C. will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. Hamilton-Carter turned to be Piestanske C.'s top player in her first season with the team. Danielle Hamilton-Carter averages just after three games 22.0ppg and 13.3rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Theresa Simon (180-G-98) of league's second-best Marburg. She is a guard in her first season at Marburg. In the last game Simon recorded impressive 18 points and 9 rebounds. Of course she led Marburg to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked SBS Ostrava (#4, 1-3) 90-63. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Marburg consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Simon is a newcomer at Marburg and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Piestanske C.'s star - guard Jessica January (170-G-95). January scored 27 points. She was another key player of Piestanske C., helping her team with a 77-34 easy win against #4 ranked UBI Graz. Piestanske C. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. The season just started for January as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be another team's leader.
