CEWL round 7 best performance: Manca Vrecer (by Hoops Agents)

Forward Manca Vrecer (178-F-2002) put on an amazing game in the last round for Triglav Vadoli Kranj, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 22-year old player was the main contributor (15 points, three rebounds and six assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat UBI Graz (#8, 0-7), the league's bottom-ranked team 66-59. Triglav maintains the 7th position in CEWL . Too late to improve their position as they are currently ranked such low. They already lost 5 games and recorded just two victories. Vrecer has many years of experience at Triglav, through which she has constantly improved. Manca Vrecer has solid league stats. She is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 3.5apg) and averages impressive 1.2bpg,2.2spg and 42.4% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young Lucia Zilinska (188-F-2002) of Slavia Banska Bystrica. Zilinska had a very good evening with a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Slavia was edged by the higher-ranked Ostrava (#2, 6-1) 74-70. Slavia is still second from the bottom in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Slavia managed to get this year. Zilinska is well-known at Slavia and is a proven leader in her second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was center Janet Oriakhi (186-C-2004) of UBI Graz (#8). Oriakhi scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Oriakhi's great performance the UBI Graz lost 59-66 to slightly higher-ranked Triglav (#7, 2-5). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Oriakhi has a very solid season. In 4 games in CEWL she scored 8.0ppg.

10. Lara Bubnic (190-C-1999) of Triglav - 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
