Olha Yatskovets, 28-year old Ukrainian forward the Ruzomberok from Slovakia, was honored as the Player of the Year at the Nike Extraliga. She received multiple other awards, earned the Defensive Player of the Year, European Player of the Year, Forward of the Year and was voted to the First Team. With Yatskovets' excellent performance, the Ruzomberok achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 5 to 1 in the regular season. Yatskovets was previously selected to the Second Team last year. She averaged almost 7 rebounds per game in the league. Yatskovets was the Player of the Week honoree in the league. Simpson was also named to the First Team. Her consistent performance as a playmaker earned her the fifth ranked in points per game, showcasing average of 14. Simpson was voted Player of the Week twice during the 25 26 campaign. She led the Extraliga in rebounds per game with over 12. Simpson has totalled 4 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 7 games on the year. Her 24 points against Samorin were the most she scored in the 25 26 season.
