Croatian Premijer Liga round 1 best performance: Matej Rudan (by Hoops Agents)

International Power forward Matej Rudan (208-PF-2001) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked KK Dinamo Zagreb, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (25 points, eight rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Zabok (#12, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 80-78. Thanks to this victory Dinamo moved-up to the 2nd position in Croatian Premijer Liga. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Dinamo won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Rudan had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Dinamo's top player in his first season with the team. Matej Rudan has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 25.0ppg), rebounds (7th best: 8.0rpg) and averages impressive 2.0bpg and 80.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international shooting guard Luka Krajnovic (196-SG-2004) of KK Kvarner 2010 Rijeka. Krajnovic had a very good evening with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Bad luck as Kvarner was edged by Virtus ZG (1-0) 96-93. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Krajnovic is a newcomer at Kvarner, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.0ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 9.0rpg and 8.0apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Niko Sare (197-PG-2005) of KK Zadar (#6). Sare scored 18 points. He was a key player of Zadar, leading his team to a 81-59 easy win against Samobor (#11, 0-1). Zadar has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Sare also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Sare as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
