The Regular Season in Premijer Liga is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Ragusa as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Ragusa smashed 6th ranked Pozega in Dubrovnik 85-53. Ragusa dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Pozega's 40. Ragusa forced 27 Pozega turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Pozega's players. The former international forward Lea Hajdin (181-1998, agency: BIG) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Serbian Nevena Vuckovic (177-1998) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Ragusa's coach Simona Soda felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian center Jelena Zoric (185-1992) produced 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Ragusa (18-1) have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Tresnjevka. Pozega at the other side keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. Pozega will play next round against Zadar trying to get back on the winning streak. Ragusa will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Zadar Plus on the road.
The game in Rijeka was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Tresnjevka (18-1) played at the court of 7th ranked Rijeka (7-12). Tresnjevka defeated Rijeka 60-47. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Viktorija Curic (187-2001) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds. Kiara Smith contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Tresnjevka's coach Dean Nemec allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Ivona Krakic (188-1999, college: Georgian Court) answered with 8 points and 12 rebounds for Rijeka. Tresnjevka keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Ragusa. Rijeka at the other side keeps the seventh place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Zadar. Tresnjevka will play against Sibenik (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rijeka will play against Pula-Orca (#12) in Zagreb and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Worth to mention a quality performance of Meghan Boyd who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 7 rebounds. Zagreb's coach Danica Talajic felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Aliyah-Deen Ahmad responded with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Zagreb. They maintain fourth place with 13-6 record. Brod na Savi lost their third game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Medvescak. Zagreb's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Zagreb to the arena Medvescak.
Other games of round 19 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
