Ragusa defend Premijer Liga title

Ragusa - Tresnjevka 76-75

Ragusa defended their Premijer Liga title. They nipped Tresnjevka in the third game of the championship series to repeat as champions. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-75. It was a good game for naturalized Serbian Nevena Vuckovic (177-1998) who saved her team from a defeat with 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field). The former international forward Iva Todoric (174-1993) contributed with 4 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. American guard Kiara Smith (178-1998, college: Florida) answered with 19 points and 7 rebounds and international forward Lena Bilic (189-2007) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for Tresnjevka.
