Hradec Kralove inks Katarina Trehub

Katarina Trehub

Sokol ZVUS Hradec Kralove (ZBL) has agreed terms with 27-year-old Croatian center Katarina Trehub (192cm-1997) for the new 2025-26 season. She is the second foreign player on the roster, with Slovakian Natalia Martiskova having signed earlier. Trehub played last season at Credit Agricole La Spezia in the Italian Serie B, where she averaged 12.0ppg, 7.8rpg, and 1.0spg in four Serie A2 games. She also played for ZKK Zadar Plus in the Croatian league, putting up impressive stats in 14 games in the Croatian Premijer Liga: 16.6ppg, 11.9rpg, 2.2apg, 1.3spg, and 1.6bpg. In the 2024-25 season, she was named to the Eurobasket.com All-Croatian League All-Defensive Team, League Player of the Week twice, and Eurobasket.com All-Croatian League Second Team.
Trehub is a very experienced player. She has played in Hungary (BKG Prima), Italy (Alperia Basket Club Bolzano, Valdarno, Moncalieri, and Brescia), Portugal (Benfica), Czech Republic (Brno), and Croatia (Pula and Rijeka).
Among many awards, her team won the Italian Serie A2 Group North Regular Season in 2021. Trehub was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Honorable Mention back in 2020.
