ZKK Brod na Savi Slavonski Brod (Premijer Liga) inked 24-year old Croatian international 168cm shooting guard Mihaela Lazic (college: FIU) for upcoming season. Lazic played this summer at El Calor in Mexican LNBPF. She managed to play in four leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 20 LNBPF games just recently she averaged 3.6ppg, 1.4rpg and 2.9apg. Lazic helped them to make it to the semifinals. The last season she played at Besiktas in Turkish KBSL. The team played in three different competitions that year, and she had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 16 Turkish KBSL games she recorded 9.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 4.1apg and 1.1spg. She also played 2 games in Euroleague where she got 11.0ppg, 1.5rpg, 3.5apg and 1.0spg. Lazic also played 12 games in Eurocup where she got 6.3ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.3apg.
She has been also a member of Croatian international program for some years. Lazic has regularly played for Croatian senior team since 2019 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2018.
She represented Croatia at the WBI Championship Quarterfinals two years ago. Her team made it to the Europe final in 2025.
Among many awards she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Croatian League Honorable Mention back in 2019.
Lazic graduated from Florida International University in 2023 and it will be her third season in pro basketball. She played also for University of South Florida for 3 years.
