Croatian Premijer Liga round 5 best performance: Ana Vojtulek (by Hoops Agents)

International Center Ana Vojtulek (190-C-1999) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked ZKK Tresnjevka 2009 Zagreb, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 22 points and 16 rebounds, while her team outclassed Zadar (#8, 2-3) with 59-point margin 93-34. Tresnjevka maintains the 2nd position in Croatian Premijer Liga. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Tresnjevka already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. Vojtulek turned to be Tresnjevka's top player in her first season with the team. Ana Vojtulek has solid league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 9.0rpg) and averages impressive 63.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Brooke Flowers (195-C-2000) of ZKK Zadar Plus. Flowers had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 17 rebounds. Of course she led Zadar Plus to another comfortable win outscoring KAZL Split (1-4) 87-65. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Zadar Plus managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 9th place. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Zadar Plus managed to get this year. Flowers is a newcomer at Zadar Plus, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.2ppg (#4). She also registered 18.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Anja Konjevic (186-SF-1994) of Flumen Sancti Viiti Rijeka (#7). Konjevic scored 19 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Rijeka, leading her team to a 99-51 easy win against Split (#12, 0-5). The chances of Rijeka ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Konjevic could help Rijeka to bring them higher in the standings. Konjevic has a great season in Croatia. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.4rpg (7th best).
