Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most important game in the last round took place in Sibenik between second ranked Sibenik (17-5) and fifth ranked Ragusa (15-6) on Sunday night. Sibenik was defeated by Ragusa at home 65-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sibenik. Ragusa forced 22 Sibenik turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Iva Todoric (174-1993) who helped to win the game recording 5 points, 14 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals. French forward Salome Boyomo (188-2005) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Andjela Strize (177-1999) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for Sibenik. Ragusa have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains fifth position with 15-6 record. Sibenik at the other side keeps the second place with five games lost. They share the position with Zagreb and Tresnjevka.
Premijer Liga top team - Brod na Savi (21-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Pozega (11-10) 86-56. The former international forward Ana-Marija Begic (190-1994) scored 26 points, 5 assists and 6 steals to lead the charge for the winners and E'Lease Stafford chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Gabriela Grizelj (172-2001) responded with 13 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brod na Savi have an impressive 19-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-1 record. Pozega at the other side keeps the seventh place with ten games lost.
The game between 10th ranked Zadar Plus (4-17) and third ranked Zagreb (17-5) in Zadar on Thursday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Zagreb outscored Zadar Plus 110-54. Lea Hajdin notched a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort. Zagreb's coach Danica Talajic felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 19 points and 7 rebounds by Courtney Turner did not help to save the game for Zadar Plus. Zagreb moved-up to second place, which they share with Sibenik and Tresnjevka. Zadar Plus lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 17 games lost.

Other games in round 22 were not that significant. Bottom-ranked Split was smashed by KAZL Split on the road 65-45. Tresnjevka destroyed Rijeka on its own court 85-62. Medvescak was outscored by Zadar in a road game 96-75.
The most impressive performance of 22th round was 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by Laura Zelnyte of Zagreb.

KAZL Split - Split 65-45

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked KAZL Split (6-16) crushed at home bottom-ranked Split (1-20) 65-45 on Saturday. KAZL Split outrebounded them 46-32 including a 21-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Lauren Wasylson (183, college: Duquesne) notched 16 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international Sara Boric (179-2000) supported her with 8 points and 10 rebounds. Even 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of her eight free throws) by Iva Tabak (178-2009) did not help to save the game for Split. Bruna Mrcela (-2010) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KAZL Split maintains ninth position with 6-16 record. Split lost thirteenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 20 lost games.

Premijer Liga top team - Brod na Savi (21-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Pozega (11-10) 86-56. Brod na Savi dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Pozega's 24. They outrebounded Pozega 45-32 including 35 on the defensive glass. Brod na Savi players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Pozega's players. The former international forward Ana-Marija Begic (190-1994) scored 26 points, 5 assists and 6 steals to lead the charge for the winners and American swingman E'Lease Stafford (183-1999, college: UMKC) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Tresnjevka - Rijeka 85-62

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Rijeka (12-10) was smashed by fourth ranked Tresnjevka (17-5) in Zagreb 85-62 on Sunday. Tresnjevka looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Portuguese guard Rita Oliveira (165-2000) notched 19 points and 8 assists to lead the effort and Bosnian power forward Katarina Mihalj (182-2007) supported her with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Tresnjevka players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 9 rebounds by Serbian power forward Marijana Zukanovic (189-1999, agency: Olsta) did not help to save the game for Rijeka. Anja Konjevic (186-1994) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Rijeka's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Tresnjevka moved-up to second place, which they share with Sibenik and Zagreb. Loser Rijeka keeps the sixth position with ten games lost.

Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Zadar (7-15) rolled over at home 11th ranked Medvescak (2-20) 96-75 on Saturday. Zadar forced 26 Medvescak turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American Sam Deem (185-2001, college: Regis Univ.) notched a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the effort and guard Lola Stipic (170-2008) supported her with 19 points and 6 assists. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by center Iva Medic (182-2008) did not help to save the game for Medvescak. Guard Marina Kusanovic (175-2008) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Five Zadar and four Medvescak players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zadar maintains eighth position with 7-15 record. Medvescak lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 20 games lost.
