International Center Julianna Okosun (194-C-2001) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked AKS Falcon Copenhagen, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 29 points and 14 rebounds, while her team outclassed Amager (#5, 2-14) with 43-point margin 91-48. Falcon maintains the 2nd position in Danish Dameligaen. They are still close to the very top. Falcon would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 13-3 record. It's Okosun's second year at Falcon and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Former Marquette University star has very solid stats this year. Okosun is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.6ppg. Okosun is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 12.1rpg) and averages impressive 3.3spg.

The second best player in last round's games was another Falcon's star - young Katrine Lassen (178-SF-1999). Lassen had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Of course together with Okosun she helped AKS Falcon Copenhagen with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Amager (#5, 2-14) 91-48. Falcon's second position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost just three games this season, while they won 13 matches. Lassen is one of the most experienced players at Falcon and similarly like Julianna Okosun has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Falcon's star - guard Taylor Gleason (172-G-1995). Gleason showcased her all-around game by recording 9 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in the last round. She was another key player of AKS Falcon Copenhagen, helping her team with a 91-48 easy win against the lower-ranked Amager (#5, 2-14). Falcon is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 13-3 record is not that bad... Gleason has a great season in Denmark. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.1ppg (4th best) and assists with 6.1apg (best passer). She also has 3.6spg and a FGP of 59.5%. Gleason attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on her way to pro basketball.
