Dameligaen Round 3 (Regular Season): Falcon lose their first game against Horsholm

After 3 rounds played we can already see who rules in the Dameligaen and who belongs to weaker ones. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most surprising game was a loss of Falcon (3-1) in Copenhagen on Thursday night. Hosts were edged by Horsholm (2-2) 66-65. Horsholm forced 23 Falcon turnovers. It was a great evening for who led her team to a victory scoring 31 points and 8 rebounds. helped adding 12 points. The best for the losing side was Katrine Lassen with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Horsholm will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Falcon will play again on the road against Horsholm and is hoping to win this game.
Very significant was Aabyhoj's (#4) 65-55 road victory against Herlev. It was an exceptional evening for who led the winners and scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Katrine Pedersen accounted for 7 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Caroline Rasmussen came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for Herlev in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aabyhoj will play against SISU (#3) in Copenhagen in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Herlev will play on the road against Amager in Kastrup and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Falcon (3-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed Amager (0-3) in Kastrup 82-61. The best player for the winners was Amalie Langer who scored 26 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Nikoline Sandback who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Falcon will meet Horsholm (#4) on the road in the next round. Amager will play against Herlev and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last game of round 3 Horsholm was destroyed by SISU on the opponent's court 87-62.

Rather expected game in Copenhagen where Horsholm (2-2) was crushed by SISU (2-1) 87-62 on Friday. SISU forced 19 Horsholm turnovers and outrebounded them 50-31 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 18 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Four SISU players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Caroline Reumert who recorded 26 points and Maya Madsen added 4 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Horsholm's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. SISU will meet Aabyhoj on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Horsholm will play against Falcon and hope to secure a win.
