Smollerup's 26 points give her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

21-year old guard Vanessa Smollerup (163-G-2004) had a great game in the last round for BK Amager and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
She had the game-high 26 points adding four rebounds for Amager in her team's victory, helping them to beat Horsholm (3-11) 92-79. Amager is placed at 5th position in Danish Dameligaen. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 11 games and recorded just three victories. In the team's last game Smollerup had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. She has many years of experience at Amager, through which she has constantly improved. Vanessa Smollerup averages this season 5.5ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Caroline Wich (185-C-1996) of league's second-best Aabyhoj IF. She is international center in her 8th season at Aabyhoj. Wich is one of the most experienced players at Aabyhoj and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.1ppg (#1). She also registered 9.9 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Amager's star - guard Julie Jungslund (169-G-1998). Jungslund showcased her all-around game by recording 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. She was another key player of BK Amager, helping her team with a 92-79 easy win against Horsholm (3-11). Amager can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-11 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Jungslund has a very solid season. In 9 games in Denmark she scored 8.8ppg.
