EGBL U19 round 2 best performance: Liva Hermane (by Hoops Agents)

Latvian Swingman Liva Hermane (175-G/F-2007) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked TTT Juniores, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 18-year old player was the main contributor (22 points, six rebounds and four assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat VSC (#3, 6-2) 62-53. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed TTT Juniores to consolidate first place in the EGBL U19. TTT Juniores have a solid 7-1 record. Hermane turned to be TTT Juniores' top player in her first season with the team. Liva Hermane has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 13.2ppg), assists (8th best: 2.5apg) and averages impressive 56.1% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Latvian Zane Straudovska (186-C-2007) of TTT Juniores. Straudovska had a very good evening with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course she led TTT Juniores to another comfortable win outscoring Sheffield (0-8) 61-36. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Straudovska is a newcomer at TTT Juniores, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 11.9ppg (#7). She also registered 6.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Ida Riihijarvi (180-F-2009) of Tapiolan Honka (#8). Riihijarvi showcased her all-around game by recording 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Tapiolan Honka, leading her team to a 59-24 easy win against Sheffield (#9, 0-8). Honka can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-7 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Riihijarvi has a very solid season. In 4 games in EGBL U19 she scored 11.3ppg.
