Chomutov toppled Neptunas to claim EWBL title. Chomutov forced 22 Neptunas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Najai Pollard (180-1997, college: Delaware St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds for the winners and power forward Monika Satoranska (188-1993) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Katerina Bartonova (172-PG-1990) was named the MVP. At the losing side point guard Dalia Donskichyte (169-2000) responded with 11 points and 8 assists and Lithuanian Ligita Tamutyte (177-1999) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Polonia W-wa - Frankivsk 100-53

Polonia Warsaw claimed the third position in the EWBL season as they cruised past Frankivsk. Polonia W-wa dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Frankivsk's 28. They outrebounded Frankivsk 46-32 including a 37-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Polonia W-wa especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Frankivsk's players. Serbian forward Andjelina Radic (187-1994) nailed 24 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Greek point guard Angeliki Vintsilaiou (173-1998) accounted for 7 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Polish-Ukrainian forward Oksana Mollova (188-1988, agency: BIG) came up with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Krystyna Filevich (182-1991) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Frankivsk in the defeat.
