The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Latvian TTT Riga (2-2) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Polish Polonia W-wa (5-0) 74-70. They maintain first place with 5-0 record which they share with defeated TTT Riga. Defending Latvian champion TTT Riga still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with SBS Ostrava.

It was a key game for the top position in the league. American power forward Anacia Wilkinson (188-1997, college: Tenn Tech) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners and Katerina Kanova chipped in 3 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. SBS Ostrava's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Power forward Monika Satoranska (188-1993) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds. SBS Ostrava (2-2) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with TTT Riga. Chomutov at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost.
