Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Latvian TTT Riga (2-2) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Polish Polonia W-wa (5-0) 74-70. Polonia W-wa dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to TTT Riga's 16 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Polonia W-wa forced 27 TTT Riga turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by TTT Riga helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Andreona Keys (178-1995, college: Purdue) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Her fellow American import Jessica Jackson (193-1995, college: Arkansas) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Polish swingman Emilia Kosla (178-2001) answered with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for TTT Riga. Polonia W-wa have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record which they share with defeated TTT Riga. Defending Latvian champion TTT Riga still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with SBS Ostrava.
One of the most interesting games of round 5 was a derby match between two teams from Czech Republic. Fourth ranked SBS Ostrava won against visiting Chomutov (2-3) 74-69. It was a key game for the top position in the league. American power forward Anacia Wilkinson (188-1997, college: Tenn Tech) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners and Katerina Kanova chipped in 3 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. SBS Ostrava's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Power forward Monika Satoranska (188-1993) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds. SBS Ostrava (2-2) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with TTT Riga. Chomutov at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost.

In the last game of round 5 TTT Riga beat Chomutov on the road 76-68.

An interesting game for Polish Polonia W-wa (5-0) which hosted in Warszawa 4th placed Czech SBS Ostrava (2-2). Leader Polonia W-wa had an easy win 76-60. Polonia W-wa dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to SBS Ostrava's 28 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Polonia W-wa forced 19 SBS Ostrava turnovers. American guard Andreona Keys (178-1995, college: Purdue) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Greek point guard Angeliki Vintsilaiou (173-1998) accounted for 16 points. Keys is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Polonia W-wa players scored in double figures. Swingman Adela Smutna (183-1999, college: Northwest JC) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Slovakian point guard Tereza Motycakova (170-1992) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for SBS Ostrava in the defeat.
