Udodenko's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

33-year old center Taisia Udodenko (190-C-1989) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Frankivsk and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
She had a double-double of 16 points and 17 rebounds, while her team beat SBS Ostrava (#2, 2-3) 74-63. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Thanks to this victory Frankivsk moved-up to the 3rd position in EWBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Frankivsk will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team's last game Udodenko had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. She turned to be Frankivsk's top player in her first season with the team. Udodenko has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (8th best: 14.3ppg) and averages solid 1.9bpg.

Second best performed player last round was Oksana Mollova (188-F-1988, agency: BIG). She is Polish-Ukrainian forward in her first season at Frankivsk. In the last game Mollova recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds. Of course Frankivsk cruised to a 74-63 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked SBS Ostrava (#2, 2-3). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Frankivsk consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. Her team's 4-3 record is not bad at all. Mollova is a newcomer at Frankivsk and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.7ppg (#3). She also registered 9.1 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Anacia Wilkinson (188-F/C-1997) of league's second-best SBS Ostrava. Wilkinson scored 15 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). Despite Wilkinson's great performance SBS Ostrava lost 63-74 to #3 ranked Frankivsk. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The chances of SBS Ostrava ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Wilkinson could help SBS Ostrava to bring them higher in the standings. Wilkinson has a great season in EWBL. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.8ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 10.4rpg (2nd best).
