Audrone Zdaneviciute is a newcomer at Neptunas

Klaipedos Neptunas (Moteru Lyga) added to their roster 20-year old ex-international point guard Audrone Zdaneviciute (166cm-2003) for season 2023-24. Zdaneviciute played last season at Aistes-LSMU Kaunas in the Moteru Lyga. In 6 games she recorded 6.7ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.2apg and 1.2spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. Zdaneviciute also played 20 games in WBBL where she averaged 9.6ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.2apg and 1.6spg. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week.
Part of previous (2021-22) season she spent at Vilniaus Svaja. In 9 Moteru Lyga games she had 12.4ppg, 4.9rpg, 3.0apg and 2.1spg in that year. She contributed to her team winning the Moteru Lyga title. The other team she played that season for was Vilniaus Kibirkstis-MRU. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and she had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 8 Moteru Lyga games she got 6.4ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.1apg and 1.4spg in that year. Zdaneviciute contributed to her team ending the regular season as at the second position in Moteru Lyga Division. She also played 4 games in EWBL where she got just 1.5ppg in that year. Her team made it to the semifinals. Zdaneviciute also played 14 games in WBBL where she got 5.8ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.6apg in that year. She contributed to her team ending the regular season as at the second position in the league.
Zdaneviciute was also a member of Lithuanian international program for some years. She played for Lithuanian Senior National Team between 2020 and 2021 and previously for U18 National Team in 2019.
Zdaneviciute represented Lithuania at the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship in Lithuania this year. Her stats at that event were 7 games: 15.6ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.9apg, 1.9spg, FGP: 40.6%, 3PT: 20.5%, FT: 65.2%.
She has played previously for Vilniaus Kibirkstis-VKM. Zdaneviciute was voted to Eurobasket.com All-FIBA U20 Women's European Championship Honorable Mention in 2023.
