Arsenal celebrated Eurasian League title. They held off Barsy Atyrau in the championship game. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Evgeny Marinin (192-92) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists. Forward Pavel Sizov (200-95) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Arsenal players scored in double figures. American guard CJ Carter (185-93, college: Omaha) answered with 24 points and the other American import guard Ryan Cook (191-90, college: UMBC) added 23 points in the effort for Barsy Atyrau. Barsy Atyrau's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. COR-Borisfen finished third at the Eurasian League inaugural tournament. COR-Borisfen players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Urartu's players. Jamaican-Canadian forward Devin Johnson (196-94, college: Toronto) stepped up and scored 34 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and American guard Brian Starr (190-96, college: Towson) chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists. Starr is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Four COR-Borisfen players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Darious Clark (190-90, college: Slippery Rock) responded with 25 points and 6 rebounds and American-Armenian forwardMatthew Madoian (193-97, college: J.and Wales, RI) scored 20 points.
