Cousins' 29 points and 5 assists give him Player of the Week award

30-year old American guard Isaiah Cousins (193-G-1994) had a very impressive game in the last round for Inter Bratislava and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had the game-high 29 points adding four rebounds and five assists for Inter Bratislava in his team's victory, helping them to beat Legia (#5, 2-1) 89-83. Inter Bratislava is placed at 10th position in European North Basketball League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Inter Bratislava won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Cousins had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Inter Bratislava's top player in his first season with the team. The University of Oklahoma graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cousins is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.5ppg. Cousins is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 7.0apg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 57.1% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was James Karnik (206-C-1998) of Donar Groningen. He is Czech Republic-Canadian center in his first season at Groningen. In the last game Karnik recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Groningen lost that game 83-89 to league's leader Voluntari (#4, 2-0). This loss caused Groningen to drop to 8th position in the standings. 3 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Karnik is a newcomer at Groningen and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.7ppg (#2). He also registered 11.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Kameron McGusty (197-SG-1997) of Legia Warszawa (#5). McGusty scored 23 points. Despite McGusty's great performance the Legia lost 83-89 to the lower-ranked Inter Bratislava (#10, 2-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Legia needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 1 lost game. McGusty has a great season in European North Basketball League. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.3ppg (8th best).
