Chargois' double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

25-year old American forward Ethan Chargois (205-F-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Basket Brno and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds, while his team edged out Keila C. (#16, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 94-91. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Brno is placed at 14th position in European North Basketball League. Brno is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Chargois had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Brno's top player in his first season with the team. The University of Oklahoma graduate has very impressive stats this year. Chargois is in league's top in points (4th best: 22.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 10.5rpg) and averages solid 61.1% FGP. Worth to mention Chargois played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Dashawn Davis (188-G) of Fyllingen BBK. He is American guard in his first season at Fyllingen. In the last game Davis recorded an impressive 29 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Fyllingen lost that game 89-105 to slightly higher-ranked Dinamo B. (#15, 1-3). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Fyllingen dropped in the standings to second-to-the-bottom (17th) position. 3 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Davis is a newcomer at Fyllingen and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.7ppg (#1).

Third place about best performers goes to guard Kristen Kasemets (191-SG-2002) of Keila Coolbet (#16). Kasemets showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists in the last round. Despite Kasemets' great performance the Keila C. lost 91-94 to slightly higher-ranked Brno (#14, 1-1). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Keila C. can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 3 games. Kasemets has a very solid season. In 3 games in European North Basketball League he scored 14.3ppg.
