Caruthers' 41-point game gives him Player of the Week award

29-year old American guard Dontay Caruthers (185-G-1995, agency: PEPI SPORT) had a great game in the last round for Inter Bratislava and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
He had the game-high 41 points adding seven rebounds and six assists for Inter Bratislava in his team's victory, helping them to beat Keila C. (#16, 1-4) 94-79. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Inter Bratislava maintains the 10th position in European North Basketball League . They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Inter Bratislava keeps a perfect 7-0 record. In the team's last game Caruthers had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Inter Bratislava's top player in his first season with the team. The University of Buffalo graduate has very impressive stats this year. Caruthers is in league's top in points (3rd best: 20.9ppg) and averages solid 58.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Ethan Chargois (205-F-1999) of Basket Brno. He is American forward in his first season at Brno. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Brno dropped in the standings to 15th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Chargois is a newcomer at Brno and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.6ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 11.2rpg and 3.4apg. Former The University of Oklahoma star Chargois is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to center Ilja Gromovs (211-C-1994) of Spisski Rytieri Nova Ves (#8). Gromovs scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Gromovs' great performance the Spisski Rytieri lost 89-92 to the higher-ranked Opava (#5, 4-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Spisski Rytieri can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-6 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Gromovs has a very solid season. In 7 games in European North Basketball League he scored 9.7ppg. He also has 7.1rpg and a FGP of 56.5%.
