Stevenson's 31-point game gives him Player of the Week award

26-year old Canadian shooting guard Shamiel Stevenson (198-SG-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Inter Bratislava and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
He had the game-high 31 points adding four rebounds and four assists for Inter Bratislava in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Dinamo B. (#16, 2-6) 96-95. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Inter Bratislava maintains the 10th position in European North Basketball League . They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Inter Bratislava keeps a perfect 8-0 record. In the team's last game Stevenson had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Inter Bratislava's top player in his first season with the team. Shamiel Stevenson averages just after two games 27.0ppg and 6.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Urald King (198-F-1990) of Bakken Bears Aarhus. He is American forward in his first season at Bakken. In the last game King recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Bakken was edged by slightly lower-ranked Brno (#15, 3-5) 92-89. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Bakken keeps 13th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 4-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. King is a newcomer at Bakken and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center James Karnik (206-C-1998, agency: Players Group) of Donar Groningen (#7). Karnik scored 18 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). Despite Karnik's great performance the Groningen lost 86-88 to slightly higher-ranked Opava (#5, 5-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Groningen can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-6 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Karnik has individually a great season in European North Basketball League. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.4ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 14.1rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.3bpg and a FGP of 55.3%.
