SM-sarja Round 3 of Finals. Carz earn fifth straight title - Apr 25, 2016

Catz - HyPo 75-54

Catz rallied past HyPo to sweep SM-sarja championship series. Therefore Catz earned the fifth straight League title. The game was mostly controlled by Catz Lappeenranta. HyPo managed to win fourth quarter 19-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding HyPo to just 7 points in first quarter. It was a great evening for Russian forward Elena Reshetko (184-86) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. American Chandrea Jones (177-87, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) helped adding 23 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international center Taru Tuukkanen (192-77, college: Xavier, agency: Regeneracom Sports) with 10 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Anni Makitalo (175-91) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
