Finnish 1st Division A round 4 best performance: Joseph Tala (by Hoops Agents)

Forward Joseph Tala (198-F-2010) had a great game in the last round for Pantterit Helsinki, receiving a Hoops Agents 1st Division A Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 16-year old player had a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed Pyrinto Ak.A (#9, 1-3) with 17-point margin 92-75. Pantterit is placed at 8th position in Finnish 1st Division A. Pantterit is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Tala had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Pantterit's top player in his first season with the team. Joseph Tala has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 20.7ppg), rebounds (6th best: 10.7rpg) and averages impressive 1.7bpg and 57.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Alvar Michelsen (197-F, agency: Blacktop Management) of Torpan Pojat Juniorit Helsinki. Michelsen had a very good evening with a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as ToPo was edged by the higher-ranked Karkkila (#3, 3-1) 84-82. This loss caused ToPo to drop to 10th position in the standings. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory ToPo managed to get this year. Michelsen is one of the most experienced players at ToPo and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Jalen Charity (201-F) of Lappeenrannan NMKY (#5). Charity scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of LrNMKY, leading his team to a 78-73 win against JBA (2-2). LrNMKY needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Charity has a great season in Finland. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.5ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 11.5rpg (2nd best).
