Korihait inks Grant Audu, ex UBC

Korihait Uusikaupunki (Korisliiga) agreed terms with 24-year old Canadian-Nigerian guard Grant Audu (196cm-98kg-1998, agency: Blacktop Management) for new 2022-2023 season. Audu just graduated from University of British Columbia. He has played there for the last five years. Audu helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in NCAA2. He played 19 games where he had very impressive stats: 17.1ppg, 4.9rpg and 2.3apg last season. Audu contributed to his team ending the regular season as at the second position in U Sports. Audu's high school career he had spent at Thornlea Secondary School in Markham, ON, which he joined from Father Henry Carr Secondary School. He was a member of Canadian Senior National Team two years ago.
As mentioned above he is just out of college, so it will be his first season as a professional player.
