Pau-Lacq-Ort. - Limoges 78-62

Pau-Lacq-Orthez is the ProB champion for season 2009/10. They were too strong for Limoges in the Big Final 78-62. Slaven Rimac (195-G-74) was the MVP of this meeting with valuation 30. He spent 33 minutes on the court collecting 24 points and 5 rebounds. Teddy Gipson (193-G-80, college: Arkansas) was the second scorer in victory with 18 points and he had 6 assists beside that. Antoine Mendy (198-F-83) helped with 13 pts. In Limoges, Kevin Braswell (188-G-79, agency: Priority Sports, college: Georgetown) top-scored with 15 pts. John McCord (201-F-73, college: Cornell) had 14 points and 7 boards. Pau-Lacq-Orthez was a better team from the beginning. They drained 21 points in the first quarter and won it by five. Second period also belonged to Pau-Lacq-Orthez, who was up by 6 at the HT, 34-28. Question about the winner is resolved in Q3, when Slaven Rimac and his teammates jumped to plus 13. Last ten minutes were just the formality as Pau-Lacq-Orthez closed the game out in style, 78-62. Pau-Lacq-Orthez was the regular season champion in ProB with 28-6 record. In the Quarterfinals they eliminated Evreux 2-1 and after that Maurienne, also with 2-1 (Semifinals). Both, Pau-Lacq-Orthez and Limoges, will play in ProA next season.
