Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Awards 2009-10 - May 18, 2010 The best player this year in French top league was definitely Dominican swingman Ricardo Greer from Nancy. He was the most versatile player in the league. He made top lists in rebounds (#3), assists (#4) and steals (#4). He played on both shooting guard and small forward positions. We decided to give him also Best Forward award, as the second best player in the league was Le Mans American guard Dewarick Spencer. He is the third best scorer in the league and mostly thanks to his performance Le Mans ended regular season on 2nd position. Spencer got obviously Best Guard award. Here we had two outstanding centers in ProA this year, both coming from Africa: Nigerian Uchenna Nsonwu of Roanne and Senegalese Mouhamed Sene of Hyeres-Toulon. Nsowu gets Best Center award, while Sene gets Defensive Player of the Year. The All-League 1st team includes also American guard Antywane Robinson from regular season champion Cholet. But coach Erman Kunter managed to have great results with very balanced roster and very team-oriented game at Cholet. However the best coach award goes to Mouhamed Sene of Poitiers.
