Nikoloz Ochkhikidze claims Georgian U22 League Hoops Agents weekly honour

Talented Nikoloz Ochkhikidze (198-F-2008) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best Basketball Club Batumi and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents U22 League Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 18-year old forward had a double-double of 37 points and 11 rebounds, while his team outclassed Iberia (#6, 1-1) with 102-point margin 150-48. Batumi was forced-out from the top positions in Georgian U22 League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Batumi already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Ochkhikidze had a remarkable 90.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Batumi's top player in his first season with the team. Ochkhikidze has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 29.3ppg) and averages solid 2.3spg,78.6% FGP and 44.8% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Amiran Aroshidze (201-F-2006) of Tbilisi State University. Aroshidze impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 34 points and 10 rebounds. Of course TSU cruised to a 83-76 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Hyundai (#5, 2-1). TSU's 4th position in Group A has not changed. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 3 games without any defeat. Aroshidze is well-known by TSU fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.7ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 10.7rpg and 5.7apg.

The third best performed player last round was Nikoloz Anesashvili (198-F-2007) of Swish U22 team (#14). Anesashvili scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Anesashvili's great performance the Swish lost 82-94 to the league's current leader Iverioni (#1, 4-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Anesashvili has a very solid season. In 3 games in Georgia he scored 13.0ppg.
