Saarlouis Royals clinched Toyota DBBL Cup title beating Rutronik Stars Keltern 97-73. They started with a 25-18 run and added a 20-19 rally in the second frame. Moreover, the Royals dominated the second half and clinched the trophy.
Hayley Frank (185-F-2001, college: Missouri) stepped up with 23 points and Martha Burse (168-G-1996, college: Indianapolis) netted 20 to be named MVP. Gabija Meskonyte (181-F-1998) followed them with 19 points in the winning effort. Alexandria Kiss-Rusk (194-C-1993, college: McGill) ended up with 20 points in the losing effort.
