Sebastian Brach claims German ProA Hoops Agents weekly honour

Sebastian Brach (190-PG-2002) put on an amazing game in the last round for SBB Baskets Wolmirstedt and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents ProA Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 24-year old playmaker had a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat ETB Miners (#18, 1-6) 103-91. Thanks to this victory Wolmirstedt moved-up to the 3rd position in German ProA. They are still close to the very top. Wolmirstedt would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Brach as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Sebastian Brach averages this season 9.9ppg and 6.1rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young British forward Wesley Oba (203-F-1999) of PS Karlsruhe Lions. Oba impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 19 points and 18 rebounds. Of course Lions cruised to a 90-82 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Artland (#15, 2-5). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Karlsruhe PS managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 10th place. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-4 record. Oba is well-known by Karlsruhe PS fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Carlos Carter (197-G/F-1999) of Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (#6). Carter scored 24 points and passed 7 assists. He was a key player of Eisbaeren Bremerhaven, leading his team to a 82-75 win against slightly lower-ranked Nuernberg (#8, 4-4). Bremerhaven needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Carter has a very solid season. In 7 games in Germany he scored 12.9ppg. He also has 4.1rpg and a FGP of 58.1%.
