Center Linus Ruf (211-C-2005) had an amazing evening in the last round for ALBA Berlin, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 18-year old player had a double-double of 28 points and 13 rebounds, while his team edged out Muenster (#6, 5-5) 78-76. ALBA Berlin maintains the 3rd position in their group in the German NBBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. ALBA will need more victories to improve their 7-5 record. In the team's last game Ruf had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. It's his second year at ALBA Berlin and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Linus Ruf averages this season 14.5ppg and 9.7rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Lithuanian Danas Kazakevicius (207-PF-2005) of BBC Coburg. Kazakevicius had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Coburg lost that game 77-88 to the higher-ranked Ludwigsburg (#1, 7-1). Coburg managed to keep the same 7th spot in South-A. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Coburg managed to get this year. Kazakevicius is well-known at Coburg and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Thore Dilschmann (186-G-2006) of WWU Baskets Muenster 2nd team (#6). Dilschmann got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . Despite Dilschmann's great performance the Muenster 2 lost 76-78 to the higher-ranked ALBA Berlin (#3, 7-5). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Muenster 2 needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the North. Their record is 5 victories and 5 lost games. Dilschmann has a very solid season. In 9 games in Germany he scored 17.2ppg.

9. Dominik Dolic (190-SG-2006) of Bayern - 21 points and 3 rebounds
10. Ben-Luca Port (203-PF-2005) of Paderborn - 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
