Phoenix Hagen looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Tim Uhlemann (203-1999) fired 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized American guard Devin Schmidt (193-1994, college: Delta St.) chipped in 19 points. Canadian point guard Elijah Miller (183-1997, college: UPEI) produced 15 points and 5 assists and Jannis Von Seckendorff (204-2002) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Phoenix Hagen and five Eisbaeren Bremerhaven players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

46ers outrebounded Kirchheim Knights 39-23 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kirchheim Knights were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized American Daniel Norl (188-1995, college: Omaha) who helped to win the game recording 16 points. Center Till Gloger (204-1993, college: Maine) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five 46ers players scored in double figures. American forward Tyrel Morgan (196-2001, college: Texas St.) answered with 15 points and the other American import forward Tylan Pope (198-2001, college: Texas St.) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Kirchheim Knights. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
