Panathinaikos are crowned A1 champions. They rolled over Olympiacos in the decisive fifth game of the championship series. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 53-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Olympiacos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American power forward Chris Singleton (206-89, college: Florida St.) who scored 9 points and 17 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Mike James (185-90, college: Lamar) chipped in 18 points. American power forward Jamel McLean (203-88, college: Xavier) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Georgios Printezis (204-85, agency: Octagon Europe) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

AEK Athens celebrated the Greek Cup trophy. They overcame Olympiacos for the title. Manny Harris (196-F/G-89, college: Michigan) stepped up with 17 points to lead the winners.
AEK got to a strong start to the game. They claimed a 26:23 lead after ten minutes. The teams traded baskets throughout the second period. AEK ensured a 45:42 halftime lead. Olympiacos narrowed the gap at 2-point mark before the fourth frame 63:65. But AEK kept their opponents at bay throughout the final term. Manny Harris and Delroy James (203-F-87, college: Rhode Island) went deadly from the stripe in the key moments to seal the trophy for the Athens side. Vincent Hunter (203-PF-94, college: UTEP) produced 15 points, while Kevin Punter (188-G-93, college: Tennessee) added 14 points for AEK. Vassilis Spanoulis (193-SG-82, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 20 points for Olympiacos. Nikola Milutinov (212-C-94) had 17 points and 8 rebounds in the defeat.

World Stars edged Greek Stars 144-137 in EKO All Star Game 2018. Thanasis Antetokounmpo (199-SF-92) was named MVP of the game with 22 points. World Stars won the first period 28-20 and led 10 points at the halftime. Moreover they increased to 107-95 after three periods. Greek Stars managed to reduce the gap at the end and lost by 7.
