Morgan Bertsch joins Athinaikos

Morgan Bertsch

Athinaikos AS Vurona (A1) added to their roster 28-year old American forward Morgan Bertsch (193cm-1997, college: UC Davis, agency: LBM Management) for new 2025-26 season. Bertsch played this summer at Blaze (WPBA) in the U.S. In only one game just recently she recorded very impressive stats: 17 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks.
In 2019 she was drafted by Dallas Wings (WNBA) in third round (29th overall).
She graduated from University of California - Davis and it is her seventh season in pro basketball.
Bertsch is quite experienced player. She has played also professionally in Belgium (Kangoeroes), Poland (Gdynia and Lublin), Russia (Sparta&K Vidnoe Moscow Region), Spain (Girona and Jairis), WNBA (Phoenix Mercury and Chicago Sky) and WUBA (NorCal Raiders). Her team won Spanish LF Endesa Cup in 2025. Bertsch was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Polish EBLK Honorable Mention back in 2021 and 2022.
